About us
Pursue badminton was started in 2022 with a mission to help kids excel in badminton at a reasonable price. Our motive is to help all community people to get easy access to badminton in areas where there are very limited opportunities. Our long term goal is to make the Athletes into provincial/national teams. Our priority is to never compromise on safety and make this an academy in the coming years.
Coach - Shiva Srikumar
Shiva Srikumar (NCCP ID #6518744, Level 2) who got trained under Abdul Shaeik, Ram Nayyar ( Canadian Olympic Coaches)and Toby Ng, Oly , has been into badminton for over a decade and has been coaching for over 3 years in Canada . His achievements include representing his state in various tournaments in India, head coach of Zone 4 Fraser river team at the BC winter games 2022 held at Vernon winning an overall runner up at the team event tournament, and won 3 gold and 2 silvers in the individual events, ranking#1 in the Men’s singles category at the BC masters badminton tournament held at Victoria , and several other trophies and titles to add. He is also a Certified referee.
